Natural Chiropractic Healing

Yesterday, my mom and I had a great opportunity to meet a mother and daughter team focused on helping people get healthy, just like our focus! Dr. Andrea Noey is a Chiropractor and her mom, Barbara Noey, specializes in colonic therapy. When first arriving, I noticed immediately that they had thought everything through. There were calming, ambient sounds playing and I noticed a soothing, menthol-esque scent in the office. The chairs seemed as though they supported a healthy posture, and everything about the office was set up with great thought for comfort and health, which was cool to me.

My mom works with Barbara at a local school in Bolingbrook as a teacher's aide, and that is how she grew to know her. Apparently, Barbara has seen some changes in my mom, and my mom is constantly talking about how great she feels from working out and applying nutrition and fitness as a lifestyle, that finally the two decided we should all meet to discuss helping Dr. Noey's patients even further in life. We have decided to set up a workshop/seminar soon, and I will post the official announcement in a blog once it is official.

Near the end of our visit, Barbara gave us a tour of the office, and we learned a bit about colonics, which is a bit new to me. Colonics is a type of therapy that uses a method to basically rinse your lower intestine out with a very clean and sterile, comfortable machine. Barbara mentioned that people come in and many are repeat customers. She also mentioned the need for proper nutrition because the need for this type of therapy is much greater when people consume a poor diet, and we really want to help these people to learn more about proper nutrition. "We will take their money, but we'd rather they live healthier" is a paraphrased quote from what Barbara and Dr. Noey basically stated. Besides the colonics and chiropractic rooms, they also have a sauna, foot baths, and a few other rooms.

Natural Chiropractic Healing is an all-around great place operated by real people who have a genuine interest in helping people getting healthy. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Noey for a consultation, and look out for the fitness workshops coming soon! Her office is in Crest Hill, IL, and check out her website in my links or click on the title to this blog to link directly to her site. Thanks for reading everyone!
