The past couple weeks as we ramped up for Christmas, I felt I would give the gift of health, and I did this mostly through a new Beachbody product called "Shakeology". Shakeology is a meal replacement shake mix, but it's no "Slim-Fast" for sure. Shakeology contains over 70 high-potency, natural, exotic ingredients, many of which are from indigenous countries where people have used specific foods packed with nutrition for healing and a better quality of life for centuries. It's funny how Western medicine thought they had everything figured out by refining vitamins and excluding the foods that these vitamins come from. Well, if you are one of those who takes a Centrum or One-A-Day every morning then eats fatty and/or other foods that don't support nutrition and think you are getting everything you need, think again. Nutritional textbooks and research keeps supporting the fact that it's not just the vitamins and/or antioxidants that you need, but also the actual whole foods that these vitamins come from to support and maintain proper health and to get the most from these foods. Now, if it seems difficult for you to fit in a nutritious meal or get all the vitamins and other nutrition from foods available to you, lose weight, increase energy, improve focus, regularity, and overall health, Shakeology is for you.
It comes in two flavors: Chocolate, and Green Berry, and both of them are awesome!! In a test group of people who replaced one meal a day with Shakeology and exercised moderately 3 days a week, the average person experienced the benefits listed above, including an average reduction in overall cholesterol of 30% and an average LDL (bad) reduction of 38%!! If that doesn't make you want to even try this miracle shake out then you must want to be unhealthy. Listen, don't take my word for it: Check out my shakeology site at www.shakeologylife.com and see for yourself. Contact me with any questions/comments, etc, and make 2010 the year you put your health first! Thanks for reading everyone, and a special shot-out to my brother, Chris, who turns 27 today and who is using P90X to get healthy and fit!
